Biologist Miklós Müller (born 1930) received his doctor’s diploma from the Budapest University of Medicine (today called Semmelweis University) in 1955. Worked at Rockefeller University in New York between 1964–1990, and has been its professor emeritus since then. Also an external member of HAS since 1990. He and his wife have created a collection which mostly contains the works of László Mednyánszky, the artists of the Európai Iskola (European School) of Hungary, and contemporary artists.
The fonds consists of exhibition invitations and catalogues, prints and correspondence, as well as domestic and international press material from the early 1980s, on Hungarian avant-garde art.
