  • Description
    Art historian Kálmán Pogány (Pelsőc, 1882 - Budapest, 1951) was the director of the Budapest Museum of Fine Arts from 1908 until 1920. These documents are related to his activities as the Head of the Art Directorium during the Hungarian Council Republic of 1919, including his hand-written recollections, the documents of the trial following the fall of the Council Republic. The collection also includes photographs, postcards, miscellaneous correspondence, hand-written articles in the field of art history.
